Angels Landing is one of the most popular hiking trails in Zion, with some of the most stunning scenery you will ever see. The first two miles of the Angels Landing hike follows the paved portion of the West Rim Trail. A few ambitious trees are tenaciously growing in cracks high on the sheer cliff, adding bits of green between sections of rock that is stained by iron oxide and desert varnish.
